Donna Marie (Brown) Jones

Donna Marie Brown-Jones, was born on February 6, 1955 to the late Herbert Brown and Hallie Brown. She grew up on the South Side of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and attended South High School. Later Donna moved to Hazelwood, Pennsylvania, where she attended and graduated from Gladstone High School. After graduating from Gladstone, she attended the University of Pittsburgh and completed (18) eighteen months of Pre-Med. She met and then married the love of her life John R, Jones Sr., who recently passed away on January 5, 2023. Their union produced two sons. Donna was happiest being a nurse, mother and housewife. She had a quiet spirit and those who knew her loved her. On October 15, 2023, Donna unexpectedly passed away. Donna is survived by her two sons, Andrew Jones and Jonathan (Talisha) Jones Jr., eight grandchildren, Asia, Ashley, Diamond, Maya, Daijah, Jonathan III., Joshua and Eli, siblings, Josephine Jeter of Arizonia, Camille Brown, Tamara Brown-(Stephen) Williams, Wade (Rosa) Brown, Felonese and Trina Perkins all from Pennsylvania, two maternal aunts, Mary Jane Winstead of Philadelphia and Lesha Winstead of Pittsburgh, sister in law, Stephanie Akers, her first niece, Jalia Jeter Wagner along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

We will mourn her passing.
