Lawrence Kelley Jr., 68, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania tragically lost his life on Saturday, August 31, 2024. Lawrence Kelley Jr., affectionately known as Larry, Leroy or Lovebug, was a man who wore many hats. Larry was the son of Gloria Kelley-Jones, and the late Lawrence Kelley Sr. Larry graduated from Gladstone High School in 1974. He was raised in the Hazelwood area of Pittsburgh as a child and spent many days at the Y.M.C.A. with many of his family and childhood friends. People always gave Larry the name of being the "Best Detailed Car Washer" in the neighborhood. Larry was known as being a lady's man from his early years until recently. He was employed at the Homestead Steel Mill in his younger years as well as being a manager at Vocelli's Pizza. His most recent employment was with the Jubilee Kitchen in the Hill District. Lawrence Kelley Jr. leaves to mourn his passing, his mother, Gloria Kelley, son, Lawrence Latae (Paris) Kelley, brothers, Melvin, Bruce and James, sister, Sandra Gibson, grandchildren, Latae Wysdom Kelley, Phillip, Phillicia, Eric and Kato. He is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Kelley Sr., brothers, Shawn Kelley and Kevin Williams. Larry will be missed by all.
