Margo Renee (Green) Snowden

Margo Renee Green-Snowden, 75, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was born to the late Frank Emonds and late Lucille Green.

Margo grew up in the Hill District-Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Margo was educated and graduated in the Pittsburgh Public School System.

Margo was united in marriage to the late James (Petey) Snowden on April 4, 1969. From their union three children were born, Tonya, La’Niece and the late Petey.

Margo cleaned houses in her younger years as her children got older she attended and graduated from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy for cosmetology.

Her father, Frank Emonds, mother, Lucille Green, son, Petey, and sister, Jackie Tate are preceded in death. Margo departed this life after a long illness peacefully at her daughter La’Niece’s house surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren on March 30, 2026.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children Tonya, La’Niece, five grandchildren, DonQuia Snowden, Montashia Butler, Pierre Adrem, Dominque Terry and DaShawn Snowden, brother, Henry Green, sisters, Fredia Miller and Bernadette Frazier, great-grandchildren, Danae, Maison, Don’Quia Jr., Annmariah, Nalim, Mi’Ayla and Maria.
