Robert J. Taylor, 72, of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania peacefully transitioned from Earth to Heaven on August 23, 2023 after a private battle with lung cancer.
Robert was the youngest son of the late Lula Belle Taylor-Ford and James Edward Taylor. Although Robert enjoyed his privacy, those who knew him well can recall his sense of humor, love of Southern food, and his sharp political mind. Robert also enjoyed music, and it would be rare to not see him walking around Homestead or doing yardwork without his favorite headphones.
Robert leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 45 years, Claudette Taylor, his daughter, Ashley Taylor, grand-daughter Amara Busugoult-Taylor, sisters, Rev. Patricia (Charles) Mattox and Rev. Gloria Dixon, brother, Anthony McClelland, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
