Rochelle Delaney Thomas-Morris

Rochelle Delaney Morris-Thomas, a woman loved by so many, was called home at the age of 65 on May 31, 2023, in Ambler, Pennsylvania. Rochelle was born on April 23,1958 to the late Lou Ann Morant-Morris and Hozie Lee Morris, as one of eight siblings. Rochelle graduated from Steel Valley High School followed by working as a Steel Mill worker. She met James "Carvie" Lynch whom preceded her in death and they were blessed with one daughter, Janelle Morris.
Rochelle went on to work in the construction field as a Heavy Equipment Operator. In 1983, she met the late Eric "Ricky" Thomas whom she later married in 2012. Throughout the many years of
ups and downs, the two of them remained inseparable. Rochelle worked as a phlebotomist for many years and enjoyed going to the Casino. She simply loved living her life, good food, and hanging out with family and friends. She had a big heart and would help anyone if possible.
Rochelle leaves to cherish in her memory, her only daughter, Janelle Morris, siblings, Pamela Morant, Hozie Morris Jr., Bertha Morris, and Gregory Morris, granddaughters, Nia Janelle Hinton and Erica Thomas, one aunt, whom is still strong, Nora Morant, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Rochelle was preceded in death by both her parents, Lou Ann Morant-Morris and Hozie Morris, husband, Eric Thomas, siblings, Tyrone Morant, Lee Morris, Dwayne Hudgins, son, Eric Thomas and grandson, Neil Chandler Jr.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by Strong Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LLC., 107 Fourth Avenue, Rankin, Pennsylvania 15104. Family and friends are welcome to her Celebration of Life Service, Sunday, June 11, 2023, 10:00 A.M. to Noon for visitation, service will begin immediately after visitation.
