Sydney Nicole Thomas

Sydney Nicole Thomas, born on April 4, 1991, age 32 of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. Sydney was born to Sidney Lamont Thomas and the late Shelly Nicole Campbell. She was the mother of King, Legend, Legacy and unborn child (Legendary). Sydney was a sibling to William, Otisha, Mecca, Brook, Aaliyah and Robert. She was the stepdaughter to Diane Weaver-Thomas and step granddaughter to Janice Weaver. Sydney was preceded in death by her mother, grandparents, Janie Mary Louise and William J. Campbell as well as Eula Christina Thomas and Sidney Lamont Smith. Sydney leaves to cherish her memory her great aunts and uncles, Arnetta Hazlip, Marlean Torres, Geraldine Diane Elizabeth and Stoner Smith, aunts and uncles, Janie, Lashon, Otis, Angelita (Steve), Gary, Williea, Charlita, Roosevelt, Roxanne and Edythe (Ronald) in addition to a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Sydney graduated from AIU East and Penn Hills High School in 2010. She attended Empire Beauty Academy as well as Kaplan Career Institute. Sydney held numerous jobs in child care and cosmetology. She enjoyed spending time with her children, her siblings, listening to music, doing hair, reading and cooking. Sydney will truly be loved and missed by all who knew her.
