Timothy Brunson

On January 23, 1962, Timothy Brunson was born to James and Irma Brunson in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He departed this temporal life in preference to an eternal life on December 12, 2023. Timothy was a loving, headstrong, protective, and determined person. Timothy was known for always being on a mission, always having someplace to go. He never sat still for too long because he always had a plan and a destination. His determination earned him the nickname “Go Baby”.  His other nickname was “Cornbread”.

Timothy had a spirit that would light up any room. He had a great sense of humor and was unapologetically honest with everyone. He could make everyone feel special by listening to
them and following up with what you told him, because he was truly a genuine being. Timothy had a distinctive voice and vocabulary which could be recognized from far away. Being in his presence meant an unforgettable memory was about to be made.

Timothy lived most of his life in the Mon Valley area. He attended Braddock General High School. Timothy also, was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed singing and dancing. He also acquired the gift of gab working in sales and marketing. He could sell you anything or convince you to give it to him. He was also a certified plumber. Timothy enjoyed playing the lottery, most specifically scratch-offs, which were his favorite. He is well known around the 15110 and 15104 areas, simply for having a unique, outgoing personality. He was full of surprises and always found a way to show up to the party and contribute however he could. He prides himself on his family and friends feeling loved and protected by him. His generosity showed the world how big his heart was. Timothy was a proud father, brother, uncle, and grandfather. 

Timothy is preceded in death by parents James and Irma English-Brunson, brothers, James Jr. and Leon Brunson and sister Ronette Brunson. Timothy is survived by, children, Rana Felton, Timothy Peoples, Casohn Peoples, Ciara Peoples, and Cordel’ro Peoples, grandchildren, RaNaja Kennedy, Rome Felton, RaNaya Fuller, Ramont Fuller, Ramel Fuller, Ramiro Horsley, Jarral Peoples, Jariyah Steele, Jha’Leah Peoples, Timothy Peoples Jr. (Jasmine), Taylor Peoples, Bryan Nixon, Kalea Williams, and Ka’Darius Peoples, siblings, Shirley Morrison, Barbara Brunson, Tyron (Tiger) Brunson (Lynn), Sandy Mitchell (Deacon), Dolores Brunson, Steven (Stevie) Brunson, Debbie Brunson and Michelle Brunson, nieces and nephews, Howard and Carolyn Morrison, Mitchell Johnson, and a host of other nieces and nephews, close friend Lisa White and many friends that share in his loss.
