Todd Lewis

Todd Lewis, age 72, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 8, 2026, after a brief illness. Todd was born on March 12, 1954, in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Etta Mae Bryant-Lewis and the late Willie Lewis.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Todd loved music and dance. He shared his passion for dance with others by serving as an Urban Ballroom dance instructor at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He also enjoyed being in the company of others and was always willing to try something new. Todd was an avid bike rider, enjoyed dance cruises, and had recently begun taking indoor roller-skating lessons. He will be remembered for his dedication, attention to detail, dry sense of humor, and exceptional work ethic.

Todd graduated from Schenley High School and completed electrical trade school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He went on to have a career in the food industry as a produce manager for Giant Eagle (thirty-seven years) and later worked in transportation for the Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) (twenty-two years). After retiring from PRT, he took on the responsibility of serving as a school crossing guard for the Pittsburgh Public Schools. He was loved by both the children and their parents.

He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-three years, Ellisa Ann Neal-Lewis, sister, Gwen Fields Flurry (Scott), children, Toshia Lewis Carter, Lori McCullough (William), and Deana Schmidt (Kevin), grandchild, Isabelle McCullough, nephew, Emery (Glen) Lewis, nieces, Chelsea Shields and Nathan Shields.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Etta Mae Lewis and Willie Lewis, and his sister, Donna Jean Lewis.

Todd leaves behind a host of family members including aunts, uncles, cousins and his ballroom family to cherish his memories.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
