Toni D. (Broadus) McKeithen

On September 24, 2024, after a lengthy illness, Toni D. McKeithen, age 73, departed this life to be present with the Lord. Toni was born February 16, 1951, to the late Leroy Otis Broadus Sr. and late Audrey (Hall) Broadus of Library, Pennsylvania. She was one of nine children and graduated from South Park High School in 1969. After graduation Toni worked for Westinghouse, until she was laid off. She obtained her license of cosmetology from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy in 1976 and maintained her license for years. She also liked to draw and write poetry. In 1971 Toni was united in marriage to Ronald Edward McKeithen Sr. To this union was born two children, Audrica Jean and Ronald Edward Jr., stepchildren Ronnie and Tamika who rounded out the family. From 1996 to 2013, Toni worked in the healthcare profession as a Certified Nursing Assistant and escort. She was employed by Presbyterian Hospital, Beverly Health Center and Southwestern Veterans Nursing Home until she retired. Toni was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of West Mifflin and served on the usher board. Her kind smile and warm heart will be sorely missed.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald McKeithen Jr., siblings, Geraldine Williams, Leroy Otis Jr., Glenn Dwayne, Michael, Victor Eugene and Harvey Alan Broadus.

She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Audrica Jean McKeithen of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, stepchildren, Ronnie Johnson of Cincinnati, Ohio, Tamika Bell of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, siblings, Robert (Frances) Broadus of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Gina M. (John) Webb of Warren, Ohio, nine grandchildren, Aqui M. McKeithen, Linc K. Ensley Jr., Imani L. McKeithen, Kantrise, Shayla, Angel, Autumn, Egypt and Ronald E. McKeithen III, great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
