Trayshon J. Kelley, 48, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania unexpectedly departed this life on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Trayshon, affectionately known as Tray 8, Tray-Pound, Tray Dawg….I mean the list goes on, but most importantly, a child of God. She was the daughter of Marvin Pryor and Sandra Gibson. Raised in the Garfield area of Pittsburgh, Tray shared some of those years in Robinson Court, but G4L is what she always screamed. She was baptized at St. John the Evangelist Baptist Church of Hazelwood. She then became a member of Petra International Ministries of East Hills. Trayshon worked several different jobs in Customer Service and Security. She received a Certificate in Drug and Alcohol, counseling others and had goals on pursuing that career.
Trayshon loved so hard, with a special love for her family and friends. She loved taking pictures, loved dancing and make-up…believe it or not. Most of all, she loved the New England Patriots. She was funny and had a heart of gold. I’m not going to say that she’ll give you the shirt off her back, but she’ll most definitely buy you one.
Trayshon Kelley leaves to mourn her passing, her mother, Sandra Gibson; her father, Marvin Pryor and stepmother, Deborah Peterson-Pryor; Grandma, Gloria Kelley; daughters, Trayshona, Sha’Onia (Gregory, Sr.) Crumity, Lil Shannon and son Donald; sisters, Shauna Kelley and Shannon Ross; uncles, Melvin, Bruce and James; grandchildren, Zy’Rae, Za’Riah, Re’Onia, Tai, Rylie and Baby Ava is on the way; numerous nieces, nephews, a host of cousins and friends. By way of a special bond, a bonus sister-friend, Lynell “Bell” McCoy.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Lawrence Kelley Sr., grandmother, Lorraine Pryor; uncles, Lawrence Kelley Jr. and Shawn Kelley and brother/cousin, Terrance Jones, Sr., nephew/cousin, Terrance Jones, Jr. and nephew, Michael Kelley
